Well we are in England now.
The flight from Singapore to London seemed longer than the one to Singapore and we were both very happy to get off the plane (it was an airbus) and see friendly faces waiting for us at the airport.
We headed back to Bookham, got cleaned up, had second breakfast for the day(not a bad achievement considering it was not even 9am) and headed into Guildford for a spot of shopping ( I have a sunhat and flip flops for Italy plus a delicious box of toffees -mmmmm I wonder if they will make it home tee hee).
Lunch was at the Windsor Pub where we experienced a delightful summer rain shower, a good pub lunch and spectacular hanging baskets.
The rest of the afternoon was spent hanging with computers and snoozing with books - I let you figure out who was doing what.
Donna and Rich came for tea - it was lovely to see them again.
Tomorrow we are off to KEW gardens.
