Today we had a relaxed start to the day before heading off with Donna, Rich and Julie to
Kew Gardens.
It was a lovely mild day and it was fantastic to wander round the gardens and catch up with Simon and Emily who met us there.
The gardens are fantastic, historic and vast.
Damian even found some bee hives!
The historic glass house housed some impressive collections of plants, ferns, palms, cactus and orchids.
We also wandered in the tree tops via the treetop walkways - it was an excellent way to get perspective of the gardens.
You will also be pleased to learn that I have brought the first fridge magnets and I am now known as Magnet Mel.
Tomorrow we are off to the Tate to catch up with Will and Thomas.
It is wonderful to see everyone again.
