Pretty fabrics for furnishings in the house.
This one is to cover the big green chairs which were Ma and pa's old lounge suite.
I trimmed some the padding off it to make it look a bit more balanced.

Damian thinks I am a weirdo cause I got excited about it cause it smelled like hay.
It is a raw linen so a rather thick fabric and textural.
I hope on sunny days it makes the living room smell like a harvest paddock.
(It is one of my favourite smells)
I will cover the old school chair I got on trademe for about 20 bucks a few years ago.

As you know storage is an issue in our storage free house.
I like a challenge so have been creative about creating storage spaces.
I brought an old blanket box on trademe for 45 dollars and have stashed bags and blankets.
The fabric will replace the existing fabric which is on top if the box.
Ha after reading over this I realised we have managed to furnish our living space rather cheaply which donations from family. ( Ma and pa and dot). Making stuff ( curtains and window seat) and a spot of up cycling.
I wonder if the term Melmo style will catch on as a form a interior design tee hee
